We consider this goal met, only once we have exerted every effort to see your child succeed to the best of their ability. A large part of this success is rooted in student well-being and is an area where we give comprehensive support.

We have an excellent chaplain who engages with the students at their level, speaks God into their lives, and provides extended support and referrals where necessary.

The teaching staff at the college have a vast range of abilities, and their knowledge and passion have formed our curriculum to be diverse and exemplary.

In any day, Southern Hills students have access to learn from one of the most knowledgeable mathematics teachers, practice their outdoor education skills with state-of-the-art resources, and be encouraged and driven by supportive Year Coordinators.

Our school community is made up of each family, carer, parent, and grandparent that stands behind the students we teach. We are very grateful for the continuous close support we experience from these people. Our purpose is to serve this community in all we do and teach and to be a light and hope to those around us.

In all the work that we do, we do it with the strength given to us by God and ultimately for his glory. We recognise that all things are in God’s control, and do our work trusting that He will bring forth fruit from our labour.
