On Wednesday 28 May, our Middle School teams proudly represented Southern Hills at the SEAS (South Eastern Associated Schools) AFLX and Soccer Competition held at Hossack Reserve in Parkwood. With beautiful weather and a strong sense of camaraderie, the day was filled with excitement, teamwork, and determination.
Our boys’ soccer team impressed by scoring in every match they played. Despite some tough competition and conceding more goals than they scored, the boys showed incredible resilience and sportsmanship. Their positive attitude and support for one another were a true reflection of the Southern Hills spirit.
Meanwhile, our girls’ AFLX team found their stride after a slower start. As the competition unfolded, their teamwork and strategy came together seamlessly. They grew stronger with each game and powered through the day undefeated—finishing as champions of the 2025 AFLX competition!
