Our core focus is the delivery of a consistent, quality, academic program following the Western Australian Curriculum, conveyed through excellence in teaching and learning.
We understand that learning is all about the individual and it is our desire to create a culture of highly engaged, purposeful, inter-disciplinary learning where education is enjoyable and where students achieve their personal best.
Literacy and numeracy are the keys to unlocking all future learning, enabling young people to become confident learners, independent enquirers, creative thinkers, problem-solvers and active contributors to society. A strong focus on developing literacy and numeracy skills for all of our learners is at the heart of our academic program.
Christian Living classes, incorporating SCEA's Biblical Foundations Curriculum Framework, support the Christian worldview from which the curriculum is delivered.
We don’t adopt one single pedagogical philosophy, but rather cherry pick the most effective educational strategies from around the globe and tailor them to each cohort, according to the learning needs of the students. For example, in primary school an adaptation of the highly regarded ‘Talk for Writing’ approach is adopted.
Teaching, learning and the educational experiences of students are tailored to meet their individual needs so that every student leaves our College as a reflective and independent thinker, empowered to reach their full potential.
