On the 9 August 2016 our year five students visited Caversham Wildlife Park. The year five class are studying animal adaptations. Whilst at Caversham Wildlife Park students were able to observe how animal adaptations help them to survive in the Australian Savannah.
Everyone enjoyed feeding the kangaroos and patting the other animals such as the resident wombat of Caversham Park. To finish off the day students learnt about sheep shearing and even how to crack a whip!
Everyone had a memorable day. Thank you to the parents that volunteered to assist our teachers and students. Your help was greatly appreciated.
