During the mid-year holidays four of the Year 10 students from Southern Hills began work placements as part of the ‘Armadale Aspire’ program co-ordinated through the City of Armadale.
Liam, Skye, Eden and Seth completed six weeks of the training and placements which saw them visit local businesses, learn how to conduct themselves in job interviews and complete job applications.
The closing ceremony was presided over by Deputy Mayor Ruth Butterfield and student Seth Turner was the recipient of a ‘Placement Prize’ with Daley & Shaw Builders.
The students were required to be punctual, polite and attentive. They excelled for themselves, and did their College proud. Well done to the students!
