On Friday 6 May the year two class was excited to visit Scitech for their first excursion in 2016.
Students viewed a show in the planetarium which taught them about how the earth's tilt affects our seasons. They also investigated push and pull forces in the exhibition area.
Lastly the year two's watched a science show about explosions. Their favourite explosion involved gas, a bin and a lot of balls. It was very noisy and made a big mess!
The year two students had a wonderful time and learnt so much. They are now more motivated to learn about how our world works and conduct science experiments and investigations.
