Scientific enquiry with a difference

Found in: School News

Our secondary students celebrated National Science Week by participating in The Big Watermelon Experiment where they, together with 300 other schools nationwide, tested how many rubber bands are required before a watermelon implodes.

Before the experiment, students made predictions on the outcome of the experiment based on scientific principles. Data from the experiment will be shared on a national scale to compare data.
