Pre-primary Farm Day Fun!

Found in: School News

Our day started with a delicious breakfast made from fresh farm produce. This set the children up for a morning of fun activities. These included decorating farm animal biscuits, learning the chicken song and dance as well as planting our very own vegetables.

We finished just in time to see the farm show. Farmer Mick arrived with his lovely animals and the children were able to learn all about each animal. They then fed the very hungry goats and lambs and watched the piglets being fed. After this the children held the chicks and were able to go up to each animal to say hello and give them a pat.

Our mornings activities were not over yet and after a quick morning tea Farmer Bracegirdle arrived with his trailer of straw to take us around the school.  It was at this point that Isabella said to Mrs Enright, "This is just the BEST DAY EVER!"

The children concluded the day by watching Charlotte's Web. So much fun and learning happened and the Pre-Primary staff would like to say a huge thank you to all the parents for their contribution to our morning and the costumes. It most certainly would not have been possible with out you all.
