Armadale Aspire students complete their course in style

Found in: School News

Last night Mr Beacham attended the closing ceremony of the highly successful 'Armadale Aspire' program run by Ashleigh Tapper on behalf of the City of Armadale.

Four of our Year 10 students (Mikah, Piper, Hannah and Ngataaria) were selected for the work experience program which gave them direct contact with local industry and illuminated pathways to employment once they leave school.

The students were thanked personally by the Mayor of Armadale, Henry Zelones, who outlined the six week course which involved the students going to local businesses each week to see what life is like after students leave school and look for a job in different industries.

The students were all smiles and there was a definite feeling that they had accomplished something special by completing this course.

Well done to the City of Armadale for putting on such a wonderful program for our students and thank you to our students for giving their best and making the most of this opportunity!
