Agriculture Excursion

Found in: School News

On Wednesday 17 August the year one and two classes visited Kelmscott Senior High School's farm. Teachers, students and parent helpers put their raincoats and gumboots on and braved the wet weather to experience farm life.

At the Kelmscott Senior High School Agriculture farm students learnt many interesting facts about farm animals. They held rabbits, watched a cow being milked, fed sheep and chickens and held baby chicks.
While watching the cow being milked the year one and two students discussed the milking process and the products that are made with the milk from a cow.
Thank you to our parent helpers for volunteering your time. It is greatly appreciated.
