Found in: News

On Thursday 23 July 2015, the year nine students had the opportunity to visit Curtin University as part of the Curtin AHEAD program which runs at the college for students from years seven to twelve.

After a visit from Curtin representatives to consider their future careers, students visited the university to experience the exciting innovations at the university.

The year nine students participated in the Curtin Amazing Race which allowed them to explore the array of facilities on campus. They then designed, built and tested their very own soda bottle rockets on the field.

The day ended with a visit to the gym to play basketball and badminton, and a tour of the exhibitions at the art gallery. The students returned to Southern Hills a bit tired and very excited for the future.
