It was another great turnout this week. Firstly, the cadets gathered in the gym to mark the roll and organise themselves into their sections ready for the planned activities.

Sections 3 and 4 under the supervision of Mr Chapman and Mrs Hasluck went on the bus and helped plant some seedlings at Cam Clay Reserve in Seville Grove as part of their community service duties. We would like to thank Shane Hunter from the Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group for organising this for our cadets.

Once again this week Mr Vallance had some assistance with an invited guest Mr Lee who conducted drill training with sections 1, 2, 5 and 6. The cadets ran through some revision of the basic static drill moves and progressed on to some marching to complete the session. The aim is to have the cadets improve their skills prior to the Drill Presentation and Award Ceremony later in the term.

This week we picked up a 10-meter roll of artificial bowling turf from Rex Turf in Kelmscott. We also picked up 8 sets of lawn bowls from Gosnells Lawn Bowling Club, we would especially like to thank the members who kindly donating these to our Cadet Unit. In the coming weeks we plan to introduce indoor lawn bowls as new activity for cadets to enjoy
