The Rite Journey programme is aimed at assisting our young adults during the tumultuous phase of transitioning from boys and girls to young men and women.
As part of this programme year nine students are required to participate in a number of different activities and ceremonies throughout the year. The activites help students to acknowledge that they are becoming an adult and the expectation of responsibility that comes with that.
On Tuesday 16 August our year nine students participated in a Challenge Day.
The Challenge Day involved students completing tasks that are designed to build trust as well as teach them the importance of working as a member of a team.
Challenges included trust falls and lifts, drumming and singing however the highlight of the day was the African dancing.
