The school gymnasium at Southern Hills has been transformed from basketball games and netball drills to a place of examinations and quiet solitude.
For the hard-working students in Years 7-10 at Southern Hills Christian College, exams began today. The timetable for exams concludes tomorrow, and the implementation of the entire process has been smooth thanks to the efficiency and preparation of Mr Andrew Johnston, the Dean of Students.
“We wanted to formalize the exam process so that students were prepared for the rigours of senior school examinations in the future. We all have examinations of some sort throughout our lives, and the sooner we formalize the process for our students, the better equipped they will be to handle challenges when they arrive in their own lives.”
We thank all our students for preparing so thoroughly for the exams and for parents who promote a positive study environment within their own households in the lead up to this exam season.
