Introducing Southern Hills Christian College

In January Armadale Christian College stepped boldly into a new era, commencing 2012 under the new name of Southern Hills Christian College.

According to Principal Scott Puzey, the new name is a culmination of many years of work across the College and coincides with the release of the new secondary sports uniform. He said “The College has developed significantly over the last five years and it has always been our ambition to move to a point where we could effectively implement the new college name.”

The new name more accurately reflects the areas from which the school draws it students.
Mr Puzey said “Southern Hills is a broad geographic area and the name has wide appeal for our region. Changing our name has also reduced the confusion especially since we are located in Bedfordale and not in the suburb of Armadale.” He went on to say that “Feedback from the community and the parents about the name change has been overwhelmingly positive. Students and parents alike have been happy to see the new name for our College.”

Southern Hills Christian College is a co-educational Kindergarten to year twelve College located in Bedfordale in Perth’s southern hills region.
